About Our Journal
The Journal of the International Neuropsychological Society (JINS) is the official journal of the International Neuropsychological Society.
Publication began in January 1995 by Cambridge University Press.

JINS welcomes scholarly contributions broadly reflecting the interests of all areas of neuropsychology, with either an experimental, or more clinical focus. Coverage includes, but is not limited to brain – behavioral relationships across the life span, adult and child neuropsychology, cognitive disorders, and the interfaces of neuropsychology with related areas such as cognitive neurosciences, behavioral neurology, neuropsychiatry, neuroimaging, and electrophysiology.   In addition to regular research papers, JINS also publishes brief communications, critical reviews, dialogues about controversial issues, symposia centered around a particular topic, neurobehavioral grand rounds and rapid communications, which report “fast breaking” innovative findings.  Book reviews are also published.

JINS averages 35 days from submission to first decision.  The JINS rejection rate averages about 55%. The Impact factor ranges from 2.40 to 2.95.

Members of INS receive an electronic subscription (six issues /year) to JINS as part of their annual dues payment (INS members log-in to your INS account above to read JINS at no cost).
