Members receive the electronic version of JINS as the basic membership privilege. You can opt to receive the print version of JINS for an additional $25 per year. You can elect this option at any time after paying your dues. It typically takes four to eight weeks for our publisher to process the order . If you have not received your issues after 8 weeks-please contact the INS office.

I attended an INS scientific meeting and registered for Continuing Education (CE) courses. I have not received my CE certificate yet. Back to top
Course evaluation forms and attendance certificates are mounted on the INS website for a limited time after the conference. CE certificates are automatically generated once you complete the evaluation. If you did not answer the evaluation form before the time limit expired, you are not eligible to receive a certificate.

INS collects membership dues from September through December for the following year. Payments received after December 15th may delay the delivery of the Journal of the International Neuropsychological Society (JINS). Payments received after January 1st will automatically be charged a $20.00 late fee. Please note: All payments should be made by credit card or check payable in US dollars.

INS does not charge an application fee for new members. Applicants pay the yearly membership dues for the category for which they are applying. Regular membership dues are $120.00 USD and Associate membership dues are $60.00 USD.

INS is a membership only society. We are not an accreditation society. For a list of board certified neuropsychologists in the United States, please visit the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology webpage: www.theaacn.org. For a list of board certified neuropsychologists outside of the United States, please contact a Neuropsychological Society/Association in your country. Yes, Speech-language pathologists and audiologists can earn ASHA-approved CEUs through participation in the North American meeting.
I am a U.S. resident and I attended CE courses at an INS meeting. Do I need to submit my letter of attendance to maintain my license? Back to top
INS does not send rosters from CE courses to any licensing board. Each CE participant is responsible for submitting CE certificate(s) to the APA (or appropriate board) to maintain state licensure.
It is the middle of the year and I would like to join INS. Which year does my membership begin? Back to top
You can elect to begin your membership in the current year or the following year. Membership fees are not prorated. Membership benefits are valid only for the year for which you pay. If you pay now for the current year, you get immediate online access to JINS, which will last until December 31. If you want to take advantage of the member discounts for the meetings, you will need to pay dues for the year in which the meeting occurs and you will gain access to JINS in that year also.

Abstracts from both the annual and mid-year meetings are published electronically in JINS online: http://journals.cambridge.org/jid_INS. The abstracts are published in Supplemental Issue 1 (Annual Meeting) and Supplemental Issue 2 (Mid-Year Meeting) and are free for public viewing.
