The 25th Butters-Kaplan West Coast Neuropsychology Conference will examine new tools and methods in pediatric neuropsychological assessment and how these can be applied in clinical practice. The conference faculty includes renowned authorities in conceptualization of the assessment process, development of new assessment tools, and ways in which these tools contribute to clinical management.

Assessment domains addressed by the speakers will include infant and toddler development, IQ and nonverbal skills, executive function, language and academic achievement, memory, sensorimotor skills, effort, and social-emotional functioning. It is the 4th Mapping Course at University Hospital of Bellvitge (Barcelona, Spain), directed by the prestigious Doctor and Professor Andreu Gabarrós. It will take place between the 26th and 29th November 2019 in Barcelona, and it is mainly a practical course with only one day theory and the rest practical sessions (including hands-on and two live surgeries). As it covers diverse matters it is aimed not only at Neurosurgeons, but also at Neurologists, Neurophysiologists, Neuroradiologists, Neuropsychologists and Anesthetists. Please note that there is an option not to do the course in-person in Barcelona, but just to watch the live surgeries on Friday 29th November, either on streaming or on-demand. This might be a good option to take into account in case the doctors could not travel in the course dates.
