CHIEF, DIVISION OF NEUROPSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF NEUROLOGY

The Department of Neurology (DON) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is seeking a Neuropsychologist to serve as the Chief of the Division of Neuropsychology. The Division currently includes 14 neuropsychologists and is closely affiliated with the Brigham’s Center for Brain/Mind Medicine, a multi-disciplinary group that includes the Divisions of Cognitive Neurology, Neuropsychology, Neuropsychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, and Social Work. There are significant opportunities to collaborate with other clinical and research divisions within the DON, BWH, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Harvard Medical School.

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic, clinical, and training missions of the Division of Neuropsychology and will have an opportunity to lead an independent research program. The successful candidate will be appointed either Professor or Associate Professor commensurate with experience and scholarship in the field. Suitable candidates will have a Ph.D., Psy.D., M.D., or M.D.-Ph.D. degrees. In addition, it is expected that all faculty members will engage in teaching at Harvard. Faculty are obligated to teach a minimum of 50 hours per year in the Harvard community.

Candidates should be board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology and hold or be eligible for a license as a psychologist provider in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated record as a leader in the field and possess a passionate commitment to patient care, academics, and teaching.
